I have to admit – I discovered tea quite recently. It all started with one cup of green Japanese tea, which was prepared for me by friends from Japan. That subtle umami taste, accompanied by an unexpected sense of peace, became a discovery – a new passion that led to a deeper understanding of Japanese tea. From the desire to understand its origin, cultivation, production traditions and aesthetics, not only a love for this drink was born, but also a desire to share it with others. Thus was born “IKIGAI TEA” – not just a brand, but also a philosophy that invites you to discover meaning, slow down, be with yourself and create a personal ikigai experience through daily tea rituals.
