Gyokuro with ice cubes, strawberries and mint

  • YOU WILL NEED (per serving):

    - 4.5 g gyokuro leaves (can be used after the second infusion)
    - 60 ml of 40°C water
    - Ice cubes
    - Strawberries (halved or sliced)
    - Chopped mint leaves
    - A slice of lime or a slice of lemon

    PREPARATION:

    1. Pour hot (about 40°C) water over the leaves that you just used for hot brewing.

    2. Hold for about 3 minutes.

    3. Put ice cubes in a glass, add mint leaves, and squeeze in a little lemon or lime juice.

    4. Pour the gyokuro through a strainer over the prepared ice cubes and garnish with strawberry halves.
